Xperia P to Cost Rs.25,000, Coming To India Next Week

Sony India is all set to launch one of its Xperia series smartphone, the Xperia P in the next week. Whereas the price of this Android based smartphone is concern, Sony India has reportedly set the price tag of Rs.25,000.

Sony Xperia P is all set to launch in India

The Xperia P which was first announced on February at Mobile World Congress 2012, features a 4-inch scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. The Xperia P comes with an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash. This device has internal storage of 16 GB. The Xperia P runs on Android v2.3 Gingerbread (Upgradeable to v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich). The device is powered by 1 GHz U8500 dual-core processor. Besides this, the Xperia P is capable of HD video recording at 1080p @30fps.

Besides the Xperia P, we can expect the launch of Sony’s other Xperia models like Xperia Sola and Xperia U. However, The Xperia Sola and Xperia U are already available for pre-order sale on Flipkart and Infibeam with a price tag of Rs.16,499 and Rs.19,999 respectively.
