Temple Run 2, the sequel of one of most addictive and popular endless running game Temple Run, is now finally arrived on Android. Imangi Studios, the folks behind the mega-hit Temple Run, today announced that Temple Run 2 is now available for select Android and Kindle devices. The game is available for free download on Google Play.

Temple Run was one of the most popular games of 2012 which grabs more than 20 million downloads from its iOS version within a week of its launch date. The original Temple Run itself is being downloaded more than 170 million times across all platforms.

Last year, we saw so much enthusiasm from the Temple Run community when we expanded the original game to more mobile platforms. With Temple Run 2, we are thrilled to be able to follow up with the Android version so quickly after the App Store debut, and hope that fans of the game are just as excited about it as we are.” Stated by Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi Studios.

The sequel of Temple run takes all the same game-play rules of the original version but it comes with totally revamp from the ground thanks to the new 3D graphics and much improved game-play. It has better graphics and a new power-up system. If you liked the original Temple Run to any extent, you will surely like Temple Run 2 even more.

The free app ruled the charts in the App Store to become the ‘top free app’ for 12 hours after its debut. Initially, the original Temple Run was listed on iOS Store for 99 cents in its debut, but soon it went to a free-to-play model. That helped to tremendously raise its revenue.

Download Temple Run 2 for free on Google Play for Android version, iTunes for iOs and AppStore for Kindle.
