Samsung Galaxy S III, the latest heartthrob amongst tech geeks, is expected to cross 10 million units sale worldwide by end of the July, according to Samsung Telecommunication chief JK Shin. This could be another feather in the cap of world’s largest smartphone maker Samsung Electronics Co. who reached on top thanks to tremendous success of its Galaxy series of smartphones.
The sales figure of Samsung Galaxy S has been reached to 24 million units worldwide so far where the Galaxy S II sold 28 million devices in a single year. However, it is unclear whether the expected sales figures of Samsung Galaxy S III reflect to units shipped to retailers or sold to customers. But keeping in mind the historical success of Galaxy S and Galaxy S II smartphones, anyone can expect the record breaking sales of this latest Galaxy series smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S III has notably grabbed over 9 million pre-orders even before its launch.
