Samsung Galaxy Note 510 (8.0) launched In India

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has just been officially introduced in India at the Samsung Forum 2013 event in Hyderabad today. The 8-inch tablet from Samsung would be known as the Galaxy Note 510. Galaxy Note 510 is a new addition to Samsung’s range of tablets.

“The Galaxy Note 510 breathes fresh life into the category as it delivers the perfect fusion of portability and everyday productivity resulting in a pioneering, pocket sized solution that enhances and enriches our everyday lives, whether at work or play”, said Mr. B.D. Park, President and CEO, South West Asia, Samsung Electronics.

Samsung Galaxy Note 510 – Key Features

Unveiled earlier this week at Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona, the slate comes with a TFT display with 1280 x 800p resolution and 189ppi pixel density. A quad-core Exynos 4412 labeled 1.6 GHz processor powers the table that runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The tablet is integrated with the latest version of TouchWiz UI as well. The tablet would come in two variants, the 16GB and 32GB of internal storage. Both variants will also have a memory card slot for storage expansion.

The Note 510 has Mali-400MP GPU and 2 GB RAM as well. However, there are no details of pricing and availability on Galaxy Note 8.0’s yet. The Galaxy Note 510 comes along with dual cameras (5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera).  The device is capable of full HD video at 1080p. The tablet comes with S Pen stylus along with some great features like Smart Stay, Photo Note, Easy Clip, Smart Rotation, Paper Artist and many more. All the above features would be fueled by a 4,600mAH battery. Other features include WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS.
