iTunes Movie Trailers App which puts the latest and exclusive hollywood movie previews in HD format now gets updated for the new iPad Retina Display. Ever since the launch of the new iPad, the developers are working hard to add new apps as well as update old iPad’s Apps to support the new high resolution iPad’s Retina Display.
Series of apps has already been optimized for new iPad Retina Display and tons are in the queue.

The new iPad, which has been launched a week ago, equipped with a sophisticated 2,048-by-1,536-pixel Retina display. This new iPad has pitched 264 pixels per inch, makes it the sharpest tablet screen ever made. That makes one drawback of the new iPad’s retina display as even a minute lag or flaw is being identified by the retina display which is unavoidable on such a high resolution display. Keeping it in mind, the developers of this app has brought this update to the new iPad. The initial response from users is quite positive.

The new 1.1 version of iTunes Movie Trailers app enables new iPad users to watch all those movie trailers and other stuffs in real HD 1080p format. It also enables users to find out when upcoming movies are going to be released in theatres, and purchase tickets. However, Apple has not revealed what resolution it is using in the app but an user have commented on macrumers that he tested dozen of different movie trailers on the new iPad and they are all in the 1080p.

The app works on both Wi-Fi and LTE connections. However, it is recommended to use the Movie Trailers App on WiFi only. Needless to say that you would burn out your data plan at no time if using LTE. The iTunes Movie Trailer app is only available to US-based iTunes accounts right now. iPad 3 users elsewhere in the world will still have to wait some other app to get the best out of the display.
