Instagram 2.5 has been released for the iPhone bringing numerous tweaks that includes a revamped profile tab, search for users and tags, improved commenting, and much more.  The app got its first major overhaul since its acquisition by Facebook for more than USD 1 billion back in April. However, those updates do not change its core functionality.

The new updates are mostly visual enhancements. The Instagram 2.5 features an all new Explore tab for browsing hashtags and usernames, search auto complete, and a revamped profile. After receiving these updates, camera opens a lot speedier now. Loading images and comments seems to be quicker than before.
