Huawei Officially Launched Honor And Ideos X5 Pro Smartphones In India

Huawei India has officially announced two of its Android smartphones in the country, U8860 Honor and U8800 Ideos X5. Both these Android phones are available from online at Flipkart. Huawei Honor is available at a price of Rs.19,900 and Ideos X5 Pro is available with a price of Rs.13800.

Announced in September last year worldwide, the Huawei Honor has 4 inches, 480 x 854 pixels capacitive touchscreen display with 245 ppi pixel density. The Huawei Honor is equipped with 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor with 512 RAM. Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Upgradable to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich) and powering with 1900 mAh battery, the Huawei Honor features 8 mega pixel rear camera with HDR, auto focus and 720p video recording (30fps). It also has 0.3 mp front camera. Honor is DLNA certified device ensuring inter-operability which means that you can play games wirelessly to other DLNA certified devices.

Huawei U8800 Ideos X5 Pro

The other edition, Huawei Ideos X5 Pro, which is a replacement to its predecessor Ideos X5,  has a slightly small 3.8 inches TFT capacitive touch screen covering 480 x 800 resolution (246 ppi) and a scratch resistant oleophobic anti-smudge coating. The Huawei Ideos X5 is powered by 800 MHz Scorpion processor and have 512 MB RAM. Ideos X5 Pro has a 5.0 mega pixel camera auto focus camera and capable of recording at the rate of 720p. The Huawei Ideos X5 Pro runs on Android 2.2 Froyo which is upgradable to 2.3.

Both the Huawei Honor and Ideos X5 Pro smartphones are available for sale at online stores like Flipkart, Tradus, Letsbuy etc. as well as in Reliance Digital and Croma.
